Vernon Faulconer

Vernon E. Faulconer (1939-2015)

Company Founder

Vernon E. Faulconer grew up in El Dorado, Kansas and attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.  In 1960, he moved to Marion, Kansas where he entered the oil and gas business as an independent operator.  In 1970, he moved his headquarters to Tyler, Texas and Vernon E. Faulconer, Inc. was formed in 1981.  The company has grown by acquiring marginal oil and gas properties primarily throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, extending the life of those properties with innovative artificial lift methods.  Mr. Faulconer was also an active member of the Board of Trustees of Grinnell College from 1984-2015 and in 1991, he established the Faulconer Scholarship Program which benefited more than 750 students. In recognition of that program, Mr. Faulconer was given an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from Grinnell College in 2003.

Chief Executive Officer

Grant is the oldest son of Company founder, Vernon E. Faulconer. He started in the oil and gas industry in 1985 and serves as President of his own oil and gas company. In Grant’s role as CEO, his primary focus is the strategic growth of the Company. In addition to Grant’s professional experience, he holds a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

President

Dan has over 34 years of diverse oil and gas experience inclusive of several Executive Management roles. He also has had extensive involvement in the evaluation, valuation and acquisition of petroleum assets. In Dan’s role as President, he is responsible for directing and providing oversight for all Company business functions to include Operations/Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Land, Acquisitions, Marketing and Human Resources. In addition to Dan’s professional experience, he holds a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Geoff Doke

Chief Financial Officer

Geoff has over 30 years of financial and accounting experience with both public and private companies. He has extensive experience in managing and leading accounting and financial teams as well as the coordination of major business projects. In Geoff’s role as CFO, he is responsible for directing and providing oversight for all accounting and financial functions for the Company. Geoff’s educational background includes a B.B.A. Degree in Finance and International Business from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, an M.B.A. in Finance from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Alyssa Kerr

Vice President - Land

Alyssa has over 11 years of oil and gas land experience working directly with senior management teams. In her role as VP of Land, she is responsible for directing all company land functions to include land management, land records and legal. Alyssa is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL), a member of AAPL (American Association of Professional Landmen) and holds a B.B.A. Degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Vice President - Acquisitions – Business Development

Greg has served as the Company’s Vice President- Acquisition-Business Development since March of 2019. He has held various positions in the oil and gas natural gas business since 1981, is well respected in the oil and gas industry and has established a proven track record of generating quality oil and gas acquisitions. In Greg’s role as VP of Acquisitions – Business Development, he is responsible for the coordination of an Acquisition Team to prospect and execute acquisitions of targeted operation properties. In addition to Greg’s professional experience, he holds a B.S. Degree in Theology and A.A. Degree in Business Administration from Southwestern College in Waxahachie, Texas.
